Join our team at Able Influence of SC for the FIRST Tech Challenge, where we empower youth through hands-on STEM experiences and inspire creativity and collaboration! Cancellation Policy

Overview The AISC (Able Influence of SC) Robotics Team operates under Able Influence, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. As part of our mission to make high-quality STEM education accessible, we offer participation free of charge to eligible students. To ensure all students are properly enrolled and able to compete in official FIRST® events, students and families must complete the following steps. ✅ Enrollment Process To join the AISC Robotics Team, students and parents must complete these required steps: Submit the AISC Online Registration Form Provide complete and accurate student and parent/guardian information. Acknowledge all required team policies including participation, media, and travel. Register for a FIRST® Account on FIRSTinspires.org Parent/guardian must create an account at www.firstinspires.org. Add your child as a student participant. Request to join the team using the provided team number or invite link. Complete all consent and release forms on the FIRST® portal. Confirm Enrollment Enrollment is considered complete when the student is registered both with AISC and FIRST®, and all forms are submitted. A welcome email or onboarding message will be sent to confirm team membership. 🧾 Why Our Program is Free Able Influence is a nonprofit organization funded by grants, sponsors, and community support. This allows us to offer robotics and STEM programs at no cost to students, especially those from underserved communities. 💬 Fundraising Expectations Although there is no fee to participate, students may be asked to support the team by participating in fundraising events (e.g., raffles, sponsorship drives, bake sales, etc.). These efforts help cover team costs such as registration, travel, equipment, and competition fees. 📜 Non-Discrimination Policy In accordance with federal law and our values, Able Influence and the AISC program do not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or socioeconomic status in any of our programs, services, or activities.
